I have been sick since Thursday! Tis the season...probably due to vacation and a little bit of "over-doing-it"! Oh, well. I loaded up on the supplements and was really only on the couch for one whole day, and I have been picking up the pieces since. Given that situation, I am just now getting back to my workouts, and I am easing back into it. When you are sick, listen to your body. Take a rest and don't over do it. I wanted to make sure that I was feeling 100% before getting back into my full routine so that I could recover a little more quickly. With the holidays just around the corner, I didn't want to take any chances of being sick during the holidays! At least my family is out of the woods and have gotten through it before the end of the month!
Today's workout: jailhouse 10 (burpees and situps) AND 100 squats.
Have a glorious day!

Workout Wednesday!
I hope you are all feeling great after the Holiday weekend. I survived vacation...although I ate more than normal, we walked more than normal AND I kept up my workout routine. All in all, I only gained about a pound...which is a major hurdle for me! Continue the workouts during the holiday season, and if you feel like you have been eating more "treats", step up your workout a bit. I like to jog in place around the house while the kids are at school. I do this while I am doing laundry and other housework. It keeps you active and burning calories. If you work at home and have a laptop, put it on the kitchen counter and alternate running in place and shifting your weight from side to side WHILE you answer your emails and do your holiday shopping. Just stay active!
Today's workout:
3 sets of (50 lunges, 20 tuck jumps, 20 push ups).
Enjoy the day!
